Daniel's Canopy

It starts with a canopy and then a soft mat & plenty of fun cushions and snugly blankets. The perfect place to read, play on their tablet or simply cuddle with their favourite toy while they watch a show. 

These magical spaces can be set up anywhere, either in the child's room as a permanent fixture, or they are perfect for setting up in the corner of a living room or over your child's favourite chair. It provides somewhere they can retreat to and feel calm and safe and remain close to you and a part of the family at the same time. 

If you have children sharing a room a bed canopy is also a great way of providing each child with some privacy and sense of having their own space in a shared area.

We all know accidents happen which is why our canopies are washable.

Before use, and before installing the hoop, it is recommended that you give the canopy a gentle hand wash with mild detergent then drip dry in the shade. Once dried it can be ironed on a low setting. 

Care Instructions:

• Gentle hand wash in cold water.
• Do not wring.
• Line dry in shade.
• Warm Iron with steam.

Assembly:

Your canopy will come with a wire hoop, cut the two plastic ties so it can expand to its full size, please take care when doing this as it can spring open with great force! After the canopy has been washed and ironed turn the canopy inside out and using the ties at the top firmly tie each one around the metal loop, we suggest using a bow rather than a knot so it can be undone easily next time it needs washing. These can get hard to do as you approach the last ones because it might be tight so the canopy looks its best. When all the ties have been done turn the canopy so the ties are on the inside and it is ready to hang! 

Instillation Instructions:

The canopy comes with a plastic plate with a hook for attaching the canopy. This plate has a glue side that can be attached to the ceiling and 2 small screws to further attach it. While this is strong enough to hold the canopy under light use, say hanging over a bed where it will not have any pressure applied to the fabric. If you wish to use it to create a reading space we highly recommend purchasing something that will more firmly attach into the ceiling and that you take the time to locate a ceiling stud to attach it into. 

Whatever method is used the canopy is designed for display purposes only and is not designed to be climbed up or swung on. 

Final Step:

Once the hook has been installed decide what height you would like the canopy to be and add a knot to the hanging cord at the appropriate height and you are all done! If you have high ceilings knot off your canopy cord at the end and then loop another measure of cord through this to extend the cord so your canopy sits at the height you would like.

Your beautiful Canopy is now ready to style and use!
